| Unique private subway used to connect Leonard's department store (later Tandy Center) with remote parking lots. Rolling stock consisted of converted PCC cars from Dallas. Also three Chicago CTA 6000-series cars were used as spare parts donors. Line was in operation from Feb 15, 1963 to Aug 30, 2002. My visit was almost 4 weeks after the line closure (Sep 27, 2002). | |||||
